if this script is in scripts by default, why does it have the following code,
test -z "$ldata" && ldata=./data if test -z "$basedir" then basedir=. bindir=./bin execdir=./bin pkgdatadir=./support-files else bindir="$basedir/bin" if test -x "$basedir/libexec/mysqld" then execdir="$basedir/libexec" elif test -x "$basedir/sbin/mysqld" then execdir="$basedir/sbin" else execdir="$basedir/bin" fi
where basedir=. as that would instruct the script to look for all dir's from within the script dir, not the mysql dir. Can anyone explain why this is so..? Cheers.
