Where are you getting this error from? Sounds like something on top of mysql that is doing the connection pooling perhaps.

I get an error "Cannot get connection from pool" I beleive it is from the max_connections reaching their limit. I put the line max_connections=200 in the my.cnf file but when I check the show variables of the database through EMS mysqlmanager it says 100. I restarted the server etc. Any ideas as to why the max is not going to 200 in the variables list?
