The update commands should not be increasing the storage requirements, I'm just updating integer values. I've noticed several times now that I run out of disk space. I started with a gigabyte free. Last time, I aborted the program, compressed my disk, retrieved much lost disk space and started again. Now I tried that again: no luck. I rebooted and recompressed again.
