It's a bit convoluted - you have to spot the message amongst tons of other info - but it does work. I wouldn't like to try to do programmatic support for it though. Perhaps I should post a feature/ bug report for having it reported with the error. MySQL seems generally reluctant to tell you about errors - they only just added the ability to show/log warnings during batch operations in the latest beta of 5!
