I have been evaluating mySQL (Windows Version 3.23) as a backend for our Intranet/Management Information Database - so far so good. However, I have one question... how do I point the software to a database location that's not on the same drive as the mySQL software? For example, mySQL is installed on the "C - Drive" and I want the database located on the "D - Drive." I tried the instructions in section "4.13.6 Splitting Data Across Different Disks Under Windows" but it doesn't seem to work.
