Today I downloaded and installed MySQL 5.0 (the "Complete Package").
Everything seemed to go with the install until it got to the "Processing configuration..." stage. It successfully completed "Prepare configuration", and "Write configuration file", and "Start service".
But it failed when it got to "Apply security settings" with the error message "The security settings could not be applied. Error number 2003. Can't connect ot MySQL server on 'locahost' (10061)
