Sorry, but "right value" for what? It is not a number of threads,

it is priority.

Did you make your experiments on the same machine or different, with the

same MySQL settings or not? Is it so significant to run exact number

of MySQL processes? The load is made by clients, and you can limit

client number - in such a way you will decrease the pressure on the server.
