If you database contained MyISAM tables, you should prevent any access to the partition (or logical disk in Windows) and recover deleted files (*.MYI, *.MYD, *.frm). I'm not sure what to do with InnoDB tablespace (not per-file), but certainly you should shutdown MySQL and copy ibdata files to the safe place.
