All,

I'm new to MySQL (using v4.1) and have a dual boot machine with Windows and Debian Linux (Etch).

My goal is to share a database named "wordpress" between Linux and Windows by storing it on a FAT32 mount (I realise this limits me to 4GB in total).

From what I can see at the moment, the "wordpress" tables live under /var/lib/mysql/wordpress.

Numerous searches have revealed how to backup data, but I haven't seen any clues on how to permanently reloate a database to a different filepath (I'd like to move it to /mnt/wordpress). Could anyone enlighten me please?

Thanks in advance,

James.
