Hello. I'm not a MyODBC expert and not completely sure if it is your case, but it seems that there're several bugs similar to your. See: http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=10148
You can find more by searching on the 'SQLDescribeCol' keyword in the bugs database. Check that you're using the latest version of MyODBC.
