I already have that request in the processing.. - my-sql_numrows. I wrote to this list because I believe the fault lies within the communication to the database.. as far my statement for $query_rsComments.. so you think there's nothing wrong with that statement? becuase i am already familiar with mysql_num rows and have it setup just like in that link you provided.
