the Foreign Key syntax is only for compatabilty with other DB syntax. it doesn't do
anything.

Subject: Foreign Key in creating tables

Hi all,

I create a sample database using foreign keys. However, when I did a
mysqldump of the database, the creation scripts gave no indication of
the foreign keys in the first place!

I am using mysql 3.23.33 on a FreeBSD 4.0-20000626-STABLE .

Would very much appreciate some feedback or some answers to this
puzzle. I apologize if there is already some info in the archives but
I cannot seem to find it.

regards,
Russell Teo
