Hi, I just installed mysql 3.23.37 on a FreeBSD 4.2 server. The access to the db works fine from the command line with "-h=localhost" option but when the localhost is replaced with the IP address it doesn't. I've added an entry in the "user" table with the IP address & restarted mysqld. The entries in the user table are identical except for the host field.
