I run the following:

./mysqld --basedir $NMS_HOME/mysql --log-update

and receive the following:

./mysqld: Table 'mysql.host' doesn't exist
./mysqld: Normal shutdown
./mysqld: Shutdown Complete

I am trying to run mysql with extensive logging, traces for deletes,
updates, inserts and selects. I am running under Solaris and I am using Ver
3.22.25 for sun-solaris2.6 on sparc for mysqld.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this error message occurs or how I can
achieve extensive logging for updates, deletes etc.

Thanks!

Derek
