Hello all Sorry to disturb you, but am trying to start using MySql on Linux using C/C++. All the sample programs I found are merely compilable but crash while running. Can anyone post a simple program to insert a record in a table in a database? One more thing i needed to know that do we need to run mysqld_safe command while running a mysql program in C/C++??????
