Subject: Re: Can't Bind to Port

server312# netstat -nlap tcp | grep 3306
tcp4 0 0 *.3306
 *.* LISTEN

So... mysqld *is* listening on 3306? Why does it complain that the port is
being used and that it can't bind to it?
