Probably a silly question, but if I have my logs set to binary, how can I read them and check on a query that's failing? I don't necessarily want to switch to text logs because we'll want to do replication soon here, so I want to keep it as a binary log. My problem is I have a query that's failing and I can't figure it, I can't read the log file.

   Suggestions anyone?
