Thibaud... If you have already set your MySQL root password, then you need to login to mysql like this: > mysql -u root -p You should be prompted for the mysql root password.
If you haven't set your mysql root password, then you need to do this: > mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password' You may have to give the complete path to "mysqladmin".
