mmm I think i need some sort of compromise here... Yes setting up a table called data with a userid is easily done but can I 'filter' these within the master document? - perhaps 'feed' the document the userid (somehow) and then with a bit of manipulation via document code filter the result set ?? can i do that in a mailmerge ?
Also i do have to consider that some users will be using microsoft to do the mailmerge but others will be using openoffice! I think this is one big can of worms - I think the only solution is to export the data to a csv, have the user save the file to a specified area and filename and then use this (data.csv) as the datasource. i am still hoping there is a better way to :) Thanks, Juglugs -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/True-multi-user--tf3841867.html#a10881116 Sent from the MySQL - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
