mysql> show master status; Empty set (0.00 sec) mysql> show master status\G Empty set (0.00 sec) Can you please let me know what i need to do. The problem is probably due to your using both '\G' and ';' to end your command statement. You can only use one or the other. Thanks, Daniel J.
