Hi All, We have setup replication for our production database. We need to do monitoring of the slave and master. I created a user with only "SELECT" privileges, and when i do "show master status" on master db, its saying "Access denied; you need the SUPER,REPLICATION CLIENT privilege for this operation".
Is it necessary to grant "SUPER" privilages, or can i do it in some other way, without super privilages. This user is just for monitoring. regards anandkl
