Hey, First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone that replied to my post a week ago. I find it exceedingly humorous that large companies refuse to embrace open source in favor of Microsoft or Sun because they fear not having the support when they need it. I don't think that Microsoft or Sun would have responded with the promptness and detail that you all have. For that, I thank you. As for our server issues, thanks Heikki, we now have them resolved! We simply did a dump of the data off our old server without the table space info, just raw MySQL output and created two 4GB fresh tablespaces on the 6450 with the latest Innobase patches applied. Then we did an import into the server and it is running great! It has been up for 5 days now, here are some stats on the capacity it serves: mysql> \s; -------------- mysql Ver 11.15 Distrib 3.23.38, for pc-linux-gnu (i686) Connection id: 634775 Current database: ice Current user: root@localhost Current pager: stdout Using outfile: '' Server version: 3.23.38-log Protocol version: 10 Connection: Localhost via UNIX socket Client characterset: latin1 Server characterset: latin1 UNIX socket: /tmp/mysql.sock Uptime: 4 days 23 hours 28 min 35 sec Threads: 30 Questions: 122988857 Slow queries: 118 Opens: 347 Flush tables: 1 Open tables: 133 Queries per second avg: 285.944 These were taken at 3:22 am on a Monday morning, in the afternoon we peek at 200 threads and 950 Queries per second!! Not to shabby for a MySQL server running a 4.4 GB database with a few million rows! So my thanks goes out to the MySQL team and Heikki Tuuri! I hope my experience will help the next person that tries to run MySQL on a 6450 with the innobase drivers. If anyone needs anymore info, like our my.cnf file, please feel free to e-mail any questions to me and I will provide what I can. -------------- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Heikki Tuuri" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Sinisa Milivojevic" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, May 22, 2001 7:53 AM Subject: Re: Problems with MySQL and Poweredge 6450.. > Cody, > > did you copy the InnoDB data files, log files, and .frm files > verbatim to the new computer?
