Subject: Logging

Hi All,

I'm trying to turn on logging for MySQL 3.23.36 and upon running
/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld start --log=/var/log/somefilename I still get
Log|OFF when I run mysqladmin variables

I'm running MySQL 3.23.36 on RedHat 7.1

Thanks!

Glenn
