Dear List, I have solved my problem I think. For some reasons 'alias mysql=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql' didnt work for me.
When I type '/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql -u root' I can log in as a root and change password. Later I can log in: '/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql -u root -p' Thank you, Olga -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
