I have just instaled mysql-3.23.38 in Solaris 8 using gcc from the software
companion disk of solaris.
For compiling there was an error with /opt/sfw/include/curses.h
For resolving it I renamed :
curses.h -> curses.h.orig
and made a link :
curses.h -> /usr/ucbinclude/curses.h
then returned all to the original :
This fixes the problem,
