Unfortunately I get the same result.
Interestingly, the problem only seems to manifest itself when more than 4
processes are hitting the database with this query. The test I am running
is the following:
spawn N programs each of which makes a connection to the
remote database and performs the above query M times.
For N <= 4, I can't make things fail, even for M >= 10000. But with N=5,
I can get failure for M as low as 500.
Btw... I'm using 3.23.35. fwiw, here's my show variables output.
