Jack:

We do it all of the time. We wrote some of our (Win32) client software to
use ODBC, so it can run on networks with other RDBMS (MSSQL7, Oracle, etc.).

Recently, we have incorporated the MySQL native library (libmysql.dll) into
one of our apps, allowing us to run directly with MySQL. Works like a charm,
and doesn't care what O/S the server is running!

project. We hope to have a Linux server with a mix of linux and win98
clients. Is this possible and if so, which products should I use.
