Installing on FreeBSD 3-4

Hello
I´m trying to install MySQL binary in a FreeBSD 3-4. I´ve gone thru all the 
installation steps but I still get the following message: floating point exception 
--core dumped whenever I start mysql daemon.
I just don´t have a clue of what this might be...
If anynone has a documentation on explaining how to set it up I´d be very grateful.
