The data entered into the web form is not posted to the database, as mentioned

in the original post. I can insert new data at the command line and the
database
is updated as expected. There's something about the web form that isn't right,

or the way it connects? I don't see anything wrong with the code. And I have
tried several differant formats of writing the code.
I have tried another web form and database and it worked fine from the
browser.
