Hello everyone,
I try to install and configure mysql under win2000, initally it seems to
work ok but whenever I try to create a table or modify any of the existing
tables I get the following error: ERROR 1036: Table xxxx is read only
e.g.
mysql> insert into user values('localhost','mysql',password('xyzzy'),
-> 'Y','Y','Y','Y','Y','Y','Y','Y','Y','Y');
ERROR 1036: Table 'user' is read only
any suggestions?
