Michael,


        Use FreeBSD (http://www.FreeBSD.org) and install MySQL in a K6-3 700 or better
with good motheboard (Asus), ethernet (3com) and as much RAM as you can. I don't
think you need SCSI drives.
        Of course it depends on how big it will be.  =)
