To the contributing party of the following builds: 3.23.33 - DEC OSF (Alpha) [dec-osf5.1-alphaev6] 3.23.38 - DEC OSF (Alpha) [dec-osf5.1-alphaev6] Have you or anyone else used these versions for replication? I cannot seem to start the mysql server for the slave after setting up everything according to the guidelines. The mysql server will core dump and constantly restart (core dumping each time) immediately upon starting the server. It appears to be a bug or a platform issue.
