Sir, I was able to successfully use the JDBC driver to connect from a Linux computer to a mysql database resident on another computer running Linux. The Linux computers are running Java Version 1.1. I am now trying to use the same JDBC driver to connect from a Sun Solaris 8 to a Linux computer containing mysql. The Sun computer is running Java Version 1.2.2. I get the error 'No suitable driver'. What is the problem? I created the CLASSPATH as before and placed the driver in /usr/local/mysql/mm.mysql-2.0.4-bin.jar. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. vince --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
