Hi, I was trying to install mysql on Linux Redhat 7.1, after following all the steps on the website, I tried to start mysql server using the mysql.server start command, and I got this error message saying that mysql.server is not found evern though it's under support-files folder and I cd-ed into the folder and tried to start it from there. I even tried to change the permission of the file but no help... Please let me know if this is a common error and how to fix it. Thanks, A.T. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
