Okay this may seem odd, but here goes.

I have a client, they have a nice big Netware server, with lots of
extra disk space. I know that Linux can access NetWare volumes, so
is it possible to set up a small (read cheap) Linux box for the
database server, and store the actual database files on the Netware
server, I know this will result in a performance hit, but it saves
them needing to install RAID5 SCSI on the Linux box, and they can use
otherwise wasted space.

The question is: will this work?

Thanks

Paul
