"RAID" by itself doesn't mean much. You prorably have to define which
exact RAID level you mean. Raid0 (striping), raid1 (mirroring), other
raids?
Of course, RAID0 can give double speed on whatever disks, RAID1 gives
redundancy, and so on.
RAIDx is usually right thing to go.
