It seems to be pretty popular to have a large number of databases, but I guess it's mostly due to having a large number of users. In pthe project I'm working on now we have 3 databases, 2 of which are mysql and test. However, some of our tables will grow quite big (several gigabytes). Will MyISAM be the best table type for those, or under what circumstances will/won't it be? Also, what file system (for linux) do you recommend? ReiserFS or ext3 or something else? //C -- Carl Troein - Círdan / Istari-PixelMagic - UIN 16353280 [EMAIL PROTECTED] | http://pixelmagic.dyndns.org/~cirdan/ Amiga user since '89, and damned proud of it too. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
