Would anyone know of a method to create/fake/move/configure and index on an alternate disk than the base table? I hail from a platform that allows specific disk specification for partition, index and alternate key files.
Naturally, I referenced Paul DuBois' amazing book, to no avail. Just curious if this is possible with the standard MySQL 3.23.26.
