I just installed Redhat 7.1 will all the options (full install) When I try to connect to MySQL I am getting this error.... /usr/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)' Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' exists! I tried to follow as mention on manuall but I still fail to bring up the server...any simpler method?
