Hi, On Tru64 5.1, I am trying to install mysql 3.23.43. I follow the steps in section 2.3 of running scripts/mysql_install_db. It comes back with the error:
/usr/local/mysql-test/libexec/mysqld: unrecognized option `--password=reqid' a password I never typed in. After that, it gives the usage help for the command. Does anyone have any pointers to what I am doing wrong?
