You'd probably be better off to use the filtering/filing machinery of your mail client to stick all of the mysql email into a folder, rather than use a digest [even if one were available]. Every message on this list includes the header: List-ID: <mysql.mysql.com> And so it is pretty much trivial to set up a filter to detect mysql messages. If you then sort all of the matching messages into a side folder, you're WAY ahead of the game: 1) you can catch up with mysql as often or as infrequently as you wish [rather than being tied to the cycle of however-often the digest is sent out] 2) all of the messages will be properly threaded, rather than just being in a big linear jumble. 3) it is pretty trivial to 'reply' to a single message [with most mail clients, replying to a message within a digest is a pretty big hassle]. 4) you can make a personal-archive of *JUST* the messages that interest you [and they'll actually have real Subject lines so taht you'll know what's within, rather than just seeing the unhelpful "BIG LIST DIGEST, V25 edition12" or whatever when you scan your saved-messages folder. Try using your client's filtering/filing machinery, I think you'll like it... /Bernie\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <-- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
