Hi!
I have just tried the tet case with 3.23.45 and it failed too. I have
tried on 3 different machines, I have tried to compile it myself and
tried the RPM's from a MySQL mirror - it makes no difference.
Though I have not tried a debug version, only production.

I have tested it all with the latest MySQL version and both queries
produced the following result:

So, this must have been some bug that was fixed meanwhile.
