i´m relatvely new to linux and i wanted to compile mysql on suse linux 7.3 minimal installation. i installed the gcc and make programs when i run ./configure --with-prefix=/usr/local/mysql the program performs some checks. it says that gcc is installed and ready but then it exits and says gcc can´t find executable. does anyone know some help for a beginner? thanx in advance sven ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------- MEGA Malereinkaufsgenossenschaft e.G.
