Then:

I need a repeatable test case. That is

CREATE TABLE ...
INSERT INTO ... VALUSE (...),(...)...
SELECT * FROM ... WHERE ...               <= it works
SELECT * FROM ... WHERE ... ORDER BY ...  <= it does not
