well, technically, its not linux, its omvs... it has its *own* pthreading, c compiler, etc. etc... And I guess that was what I was offering. I've got the environment, don't really have enough info about porting mysql to make it work, have cursory info about automake, etc... If I knew who to contact in IBM, that might make it a lot easier, too...
