Hi, I am a newbie at this. I am running mysql 3.23.41 on my RedHat 7.2 linux box. I installed it using rpm.
I can start mysql but everytime I try to create a database, I keep getting this error: mysql> create database guessbook; ERROR 1044: Access denied for user: '@localhost' to database 'guessbook' mysql> Does anyone know what is going on here?
