How can I tell if a process is "hanging"? I am performing a large (fairly) insert from one table to another (insert into... select from) I have been looking at a non-MySQL prompt for 20 minutes or more (non, meaning: after you execute a command you are between prompts for awhile until the command is finished, at that time you get a prompt again).
