I've got the mysql-3.23.46-dec-osf5.1-alphaev6 binary, but can't get it to work on a DS10 Alpha Server. It hangs on the "Installing all prepared tables" .... part of the mysql_install_db script 'sizer -implver' reports that the system chip is indeed an 'EV6', so I would have thought this binary would work. I have a DS20E system, and it installed no problem on that. Though this is an 'alphaev67' architecture. Has anyone got this binary working on a DS10 running Tru64 Unix 5.1 ? Anybody compiled mysql from source on Tru64 Unix? Any feedback appeciated!
