To check if u've intslled properly.. go to <youinstalldrive>\mysql\bin and run winmysqladmin first time it would ask for a user and password.
now open the a dos window and go to <youinstalldrive>\mysql\bin and type mysql.. if it goes in and the shell becomes mysql> your installation is ok. cheers, sundru, Megasoft Ltd, Chennai, India. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ardian" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, January 02, 2002 9:39 AM Subject: New Comer > Dear All, > I'm new comer, > I want to ask about Installation MySQL for Windows > Family. > > Thanks > Ardian > > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Send your FREE holiday greetings online! > http://greetings.yahoo.com > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > Before posting, please check: > http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) > http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) > > To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Trouble unsubscribing?
