Yes the data is consistent firstname, lastname, address, city... The data is sent to me in eight different files every day. I want to import the data into a mysql database and set a field that is not included in the txt file. The files are sent to me already organized by region and would like to have "load data local infile" or the like, set a field for each region for each file as it is imported.
